I need to know how some of the vids automatically launch a url at the end of the videos. Anyone know how this is done?

You need to add a "Script" to it. Basically the script consists of a url to launch and a timestamp. Do google for windows media player sdk.
That's the old school way to do it and is disabled in the newer versions of WMP. Maybe there's a magical new way but I know Microsoft got so much shit for it the first go-around that they were trying to remove the feature.Comment

Well it only works if its embedded in a page. If you open the vid in media player itself it doesnt do it. Ill do a search and see if I can find it. I know they used to do it all the time in videos you would download from kazza etc. Thanks for the help!Originally posted by djscrib
Oh Im running windows media player 10, and it still does it when its embedded, so maybe it still works, or there is a new version of it.

It will do a get url only if its embedded. In the stand alone player it doesnt do it. And I'm using version 10.00.00.3802 of windows media player 10. So ya it can be done.Comment

Learn to use GFY search or Google.
By default scripting is disabled on WMP version 10.Comment
