So the new cat from the humane society is home today...
 

Well, the new cat is here... and is very affectionate, likes baby Cameron... a wonderful cat.

There's just one slight problem.... Prince (my cat) seems to think he's pretty cool, but the new cat? Not so cool with Prince. Hissing begins almost immediately and the new cat goes on the attack.

So now we have to keep them separated for a while, hopefully let the new cat get adjusted to his surroundings and see what happens later.

By the way, the new cat is named Knight. So now we have a Prince and a Knight.

My God, are we lame or what?

Hope the prince doesn't slay the knight.

Oh, he would if it came down to it... don't let that last picture fool you... Prince is twice his size. He's just not as aggressive.

You must let them kick each others ass a bit to allow them to figure out who is the dominate kitty.

They will calm down, it takes a few days to a week and they will be best buddies. Thats how my cats where.

Exactly, they're just setting up their space...then soon they'll be their own little pride and all will be well.

We had to go through the same thing with Rudy and KiKi
