Bill would fine state workers viewing porn
(January 11) California state workers could end up paying a fine of $1,000 a day for viewing pornography on state-owned computers under the terms of a bill that cleared its first legislative hurdle Tuesday. Right now, state workers who spend their time cruising pornographic websites and chat rooms are only subject to disciplinary action, which can vary among agencies.
The rest of the story! this sounds to me more like someone trying to fix the state budget. |
