Foes hurry to put topless law onto ballot

(January 12) A political action group is working up to the last minute to collect signatures in an effort to force a referendum on Scottsdale, Arizona's new restrictions on topless clubs. The group needs to get roughly 1,180 more signatures before next Wednesday. Voters would then decide on May 16 whether to overturn regulations facing Scottsdale's two topless clubs, Babe's and Skin.

They've been trying to do this for awhile with the "revamp" of Scottsdale... I hope the new regulations never pass, but that whole area is very religious. There's more church's than gas stations and Starbucks. Poor Babe's Cabaret, that was the 1st strip club I ever went to.

most of the phx area clubs suck on there own already anyway...lots of fules in that area now...dont need more bs

You have to watch out for those right wing conservative (bush supporting) Arizona bastartds! They are trying to take all the fun out of our area...

If the club is ghetto then there are good chances that it DOES bring more trouble in the aera...

Well Phoenix managed to shut down the swingers clubs, tittie bars had to know they were next.

Yeah, and I remember when stamps were $.03 and gas was $.22 a gallon, and milk was $.40 a half gallon. Prices go up, it is part of life.

Screw Scottsdale and their bullshit conservative city dictators. The restrictions will never stand up in the long run.
