I just saw an anti-smoking ad. Is it just me or is it ironic that a guy in an anti-smoking commercial would be smoking?

You should see some of the ads they play up in Seattle. They are fucking sick as hell. Parents are pissed off because it's disgusting and making their kids sick. lmao

Public health announcements are fine, but outright propoganda is getting ridiculous in this country.

The ad was describing the benefits if one stopped smoking. But is showing a guy puffing one up really needed?

Depends how they are making the guy smoking look. The ones I see have the guy lighting up from the stove but he looks like absolute shit (almost green) coughing and wheezing, then they continue with showing the fat being pushed out of an aorta from a smoker. Really not that yummy.

If the commercial makes the smoker look cool, then I can see your point.

or maybe condom commercials showing how to use it.
