There is a girl who is fairly new to the industry and has been working a bit in OR, FL, NV, and CA. She called me today and we discussed what direction she wants to take things as well as who she has shot for.

She told me she just shot with Garett Smith from Portland while she was in LA. I asked her if she got paid and she laughed and said yes, but the check bounced.

Garett, I told you this the last time we exchanged emails when you tried to fuck over a model.....If you don't have the money, DON'T SHOOT! You're a real piece of shit to leave girls hanging like this.

And not like there is much models will do ... except the ones that have a pimp ... even there...

he's a CRETON - unfortunately i hear he's back shooting for ATK - Mr ATK doesn't have the principles he would like people to believe he has - he is well aware of HBM's shenanigans.

Might as well explain the situation - not that it really matters to any of you bashing me on here -

As for the model he is referring to - the model was instructed that she needed to hold the check until I got home so that I could deposit funds into my account. My bank is not located in nor do they have branches in LA. When I am on the road for 2 weeks shooting it is impossible for me to make deposits. I always explain this to the girls and 99.9% of them never have a problem. I give them the check after the shoot instead of payrolling them so they don't have to be 1099'd. However, as of Jan 1st I have been payrolling every model because one out of 200 has a problem and instead of trying to be nice to the girls (and they do appreciate not being payrolled) I get dragged through the mud on this board. I shoot on average 20 - 30 models a month for various clients and projects and payout tens of thousands of dollars a month in expenses and model fees when I am on the road. The model was paid and I even called her to let her know what happened before she even knew there was a problem.
