AVN ... Switch the dates on Miami show and Vegas
 

WHy do Miami show in the hottest month?
Do it in January so that people can appreciate the warmth here... and not have to compete with CES in vegas.

And rather than do vegas in March next year and Compete with the Phoenix forum, do Vegas in August.

I just think you could plan it better by doing that.

I would think the hotel is cheaper for them mid summer ... I bet the price would be way high in Jan.

Vegas was smoking crack asking for that.

We booked a year in advance and got it for far less, but it was still high.
I don't know what rates are for the Diplomat in January but they shouldn't mind hooking us up since we book the whole hotel.

BTW it's 78 Degrees here in January.
It's 94 in August... That's why I'd rather see them switch it and be done with it all.

I thought they said there would not be a florida show anymore.

Just 1 show a year from now on, in vegas and in march.

Miami in the summer......the reason is simple.......OFF SEASON......imagine them jacking up the prices (again).....for them to make a profit.....

I'm saying that I think AVN gets the entire hotel on a deal and makes some money off the rooms and the food ... this is what i was told ... In Jan there wouldn't be any room for them to make the same profit. plus Vegas is one thing but no one is going to pay $700 to stay in Hollywood FL .. I know I wouldn't

I am sick of it all being sepearate anyway, each side needs to learn from each other and take the adult business to new levels....COMBINE THE VEGAS SHOWS!

I think they should have done it the way I suggested all along.
I hate it here in the summer and I can't imagine what people from the north must think. I remember hearing the canadians complaining about the humidity. Which yes it's disgusting.

In the winter it couldn't be any nicer than here.

For like the 4th year in a row the miami show is on my b-day. WHEN CAN I HAVE A BDAY I DONT HAVE TO FLIPPIN WORK ON! This year it's on a Sunday. Great. Will have to wait anohter 6 years till its on the weekend again and hope there's not a show I have to work the floor on. :(

I'm in NY and we get humidity but FL in august blows us away .. it fucking kills me. and i won't go in that pool ..last year there was 300 sweaty guys jumping in that thing ... fuck that

Just like in Phoenix, I do remember that this year, I guess I'd blocked it out, they were wearing speedos and they'd have hard ons. It was pretty bad man.

Miami in Jan in would be great but thats there prime time you would pay out the ass. They are hitting us pretty hard for august and its the dead season.

This particular week, with CES in town as well is the biggest week in Vegas hands down.

There's no other show as big as CES in the world. One of my father's clients had 25 employees tagging along.

Dude, I WANT people from the north to hate it here! Let them think that it is super hot and humid all the time.

Frankly I LIKE the tropical climate, I love the hot humid weather in the summer, warm waters, out on the boat at night..... it's why I live here.....

...but either way, do you really want MORE people to move here from up north?

I have a friend that works for Sony that was at CES. Sony brought 1600 employees to work the show..... as in Sixteen Hundred!
