Yahoo domain $3 ?
 

I just went to yahoo to see the news headlines and i saw them advertising their $3 domains. Is this new? Much cheaper than godaddy.

It's not new at all, they say it's promo, but it's been like this for months ...

note the little "1" next to the price...and then the following at the very bottom of the page:

i cant say what it is now but i have used them , didnt get hosting and was only charges 2.99 BUT they are the worst registrar i have ever used :2 cents:

I don't remember exactly WHAt was the problem, but there was one, definitly do a search about it.

So does this mean you have to buy a hosting plan as well?

You get what you pay for and Yahoo has the worst customer support on the planet. I don't care if they paid me 3.00 per domain I wouldn't use them.

put it this way , they are so bad i had to transfer my domain to another registrar 1 month later at $15 , making the total price 18$ because they coudnt understand why havind domain locking was important , or why i might want to change my nameservers more than once a month.. ( among other things )

It doesn't sound like a very good offer at all, does it? They should be more careful about what they put their name on.

who has the cheapest domains right now? without any "fine print" details?

you usually get what you pay for, I would rather pay a few extra bucks and know I'm getting good service...
