Anyone use BroadbandAccess by verizon?
wondering how good/fast it is..is it worth it?

Yes, and I like it. Once I got around the "router modem" for live webcam, I like it much more than cable.

I am thinking of getting it and dumping my wireless I have with cable america, its pretty slow so am looking for something faster.

Cingular has one thats being rolled out across the US on a G3 network thats not EDGE
i would rather have one on a GSM network than on verizon

What area are you in? I was thinking about checking it out,,,

well it didnt work in Tahoe when i needed it.
I had no problem with AtT's EDGE network there 2 years ago on my laptop.

hmm I was going to get this for my brother inlaw who has no dsl or cable access at his country house. Verizon shows his town in the service area.

I use the Wireless card when I'm traveling. it's great for emails and ICQ but it's nothing you would want to use if trying to upload anything.
