Who got sick after Internext???
 

I spent some time with Shap & Shapette this week in LA and both of them were a little sick after attending Internext. I've only been to Internext twice in Vegas and both time I got sick afterwards. Just curious........ :winkwink:

I hear about this "convention crud" all the time. Personally, I think it's horse shit.

Vegas tends to dry people out and most of the webmasters add alcohol to that which dehydrates you even more. The secret is bottled water, lots of it.

I think the strippers got me sick. Damn germ-filled boobies in my face :1orglaugh

I'm not a drinker so alcohol would have played no part in my sickness. For me it's mostly cigarette smoke. It makes my nose run, my eyes water, my throat itch and makes me sneeze :Oh crap

If you shake a lot of hands, you better wash your hands before you touch your face and don't hang around people whom you can tell are ill by their coughing and sneezing.

I felt like crap yesterday but am feeling better today.

I'm pretty allergic to cigarette smoke as well. Still, it's all about staying hydrated. I'm no doctor but it seems to work well for me.

I hear Cory would have given you his water.

I started to get sick on the plane ride back. I got home and slept like 30 hours, no kidding! now I feel better, just sneezing a bit. the sleep helped considering I got zero sleep in vegas!

I started to feel sick on Sunday night but I took Spannow's advice and took a shit load of B-Complex with C and felt great Monday morning. It worked for me.

got super sick while there... was sick when i got home from miami too.

I'm with Aaron on this one. The dry desert air, combined with unfamiliar cigarette/cigar smoke (smoking is banned in most public spaces in California), takes a toll on a non-smoker like myself. Keeping hydrated with bottled water really helps (don't drink the crappy Las Vegas tap water).

I'm not germphobic, however, I am also very careful to carry handi-wipes, and clean my hands after every 5-10 handshakes or before touching anywhere around my face.

I can't afford to be sick, so I always take preventative measures.

If you got sick in Vegas, heed this advice for future shows, where germs are sure to arrive from every corner of the globe.

i got sick the last 2x i was in vegas, i think its from drinking so much and it being so dry. then coming back to cold weather in michigan.

i didnt say it was anthrax , i said "last time" it was anthrax, thats pretty well known.. perhaps this time its the rocky mountain fever or something easy to brew
