 Hyphenated Domains

So I am under the impresion that search engines generally see hyphenated domain names as two words.
So free-blowjobs.com is just as desireable as freeblowjobs.com , except that you are not going to get type ins? |

Unless you are just doing search engine work, or you have an amazing two word combo, don't use the hyphenated domains.
You can use them for real sites, but you will lose much of your traffic to the unhyphenated version. So, if you aren't going to get type-ins anyways, then why not just make up a name instead? PersianKitty.com is cooler than Free-Sex-Links.com. Just my opinion. |

thats why actual hyphenated words suck ass.. technically "x-ray" is correct but you'd lose a lot of your traffic to "xray"

if you plan to resell your domain, they are terrible... SE, not too sure on the latest

The worse thing about them is that you can target SE keywords, and those damn SEs list you and send all this useless traffic!
I made the mistake of buying 40 hyphen domains, and now I get all this traffic from some place called 'google'. What should I do with it all??? :winkwink: |
