Will someone from Epassporte just set me up with a god damn account!
 
I've been trying to get an Epassporte account for like 2 months now. For some reason, every time I try to sihn up I can never make it through the processs -- so I called last week and talked to support...they said someone would call me back withing 48 hours...still nothing.

I'm one of the bigger webmasters here, I will run a lot of mney through that account, but I am done trying to sign up or call.

Hmm...we had no probs setting up an account ourselves just last week - went through same day.

We're just waitin' on the electron card to arrive. Not that we plan to use it much, though.

[edit] Ooops, should add that it was a personal acct, no biz.

I had to talk to Shaliza directly to get mine set up...we had problems over and over.

But this is when they were still part of Epoch.

We had no problem setting up either but that was about 8 months ago. Since then things seem to have slid down hill a bit. We dont even leave a balance in there, just in case.

Wow...this is amazing -- this just came in. There would be no need for bad threads if people would just respond my call or emails. I hate yo use GFY to get a response, but it seems to work.

We had a personal account and a business account set-up without any problems. The crew over at ePassporte has always treated us very well.

Would have been much easier to open an account for Jay and ask him to make another thread saying that everything is good. It's not Jay's fault that epassporte's support is sub-par.

Bottom line if you don't want to lose business: customer is always right, even if they are annoying. :2 cents:

I had the same problems for about two months and just can't be bothered opening an account now.

Tho.. in fairness to Epassporte, dunno who I spoke to, but they did at least try to resolve the problem at one point.

I agree with Cory. I have known Chris and Shaliza for a long time and they are good people.

I find it hard to believe they would actually tell you to fuck off (they may WANT to say it-but in business we often have to bite our tongues!).

I can tell you that is NOT from ePassporte.
First off all, there are 3 people from ePassporte reading the boards. Chris, Shaliza and I.
Second it does not look like it was sent from a ePassporte employee the setup is different.
Can you please forward the email incl. headers to me? I am sure we want to pursue this matter to find out who is behind this joke.

I would have to agree. Does not sounds like an Epass response and if it was I bet that guy will get his ass chewed out or fired for it. But I could be wrong.

I think they are just having an overwhelming amount of busienss right away and they just det up shop in Santa Monica so I bet they are working on getting things ion order :2 cents:

How long does it take to get an account at a bank?
Just the other day my accountant went to the bank to set me up a savings off my biz account and it took her a couple hours from the point of waiting and signing docs etc. that was my local bank.

Now imagine 100's of webmasters trying to get set up. It needs to be done right or you could half ass it and maybe loss money or something. We are used to things happening fast.

Shit just the past week I canceled a 5k order from dell and Alien ware because they did have it done on time. Canceled both orders and went to a local place that set up a super editing machine in 3 days I waited 1 month for Dell and Alien and there support couldn?t even tell me when they would arrive or what the delay was.

I can understand where they are coming from but I also understand everyone?s frustrations: 2 cents:
