Cristal - Before or After Dinner?
So let's say you're a guy who has been dating a girl for a REDICULOUS amount of time ... and your 10 year anniversary is coming up this saturday. You've booked and awesome suite at a nice hotel in downtown Vancouver and you have an early dinner reservation at 5:30 (because you know, by this time, that once your girlfriend eats, she gets a weee bit sleepy). Check in time is at 3 pm ... dinner @ 5:30 pm ... got it?
Would you have the Cristal chilled and ready for you, waiting next to the amazing roses and crystal champaign flutes that you've picked up when you get into the room @ 3, or would you have it chilled and ready in the room when you get back from dinner? Also - I'll have about $30 in cheeses, grapes, and -oh yes- Lay's Potatoe Chips. What would ya'll say? :thumbsup :thumbsup |
That stuff sucks - Im not just saying that for something to post - it really is nasty.
As your trying to impress then try Dom Perignon - otherwise I would say go with Lindeur Special Reserve - its cheap(ish) and tastes great. |
ok Studmuffin, the better question is this: She gets sleepy after eating, does she get sleepy after drinking... or does the champagne make her frisky?
If she drinks at 3:30ish, will she want dinner... or just make it room service so she can eat when she wants and sleep when she wants. After all... it's been 10 years, it should be all about her. :thumbsup And the final question..... will jewelry be involved? :winkwink: |
What the fuck, dinner check-in at 3pm?
I'd save the Cristal for the bedroom or have one during dinner and have one in the hotel room so you can do nasty shit to eachother whilst getting drunk on champagne. Perfect! |
For me i would forget the Cristal and order Krug a far superior champagne and i would order it with the appetizer then on to a bottle of Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1983 or a Chateau Lynch Bages 1986. With desert i like a Chateau d Yquem 1988 chilled. If you like fine wine that meal will be one that lasts a lifetime ( about the same time it will take you to pay off the credit card bill LOL )

hey fucker, you're not in adult anymore, get back to making your soap.

Inquiring minds want to know. After ten years, there should be jewelry involved... Why such an early dinner if she gets sleepy after? That doesn't give you much time to register, get settled, perform wild and crazy things to her body for her complete satisfaction.... I would: Register at 3:30. Sex Nap Sex Dinner Champagne, etc. |

I dont like peanut butter either - its just an opinion and you can take it or leave it. |

that's a good point too .. the champaign will make her frisky, but she will inevitably get sleepy as it wears off (don't we all?) I would imagine she'll still want dinner, it will serve as a nice opportunity for us to catch our breath ;-) And the only jewelry involved will be handcuffs my dear :-) |

Cristal '96 or '97 -- very good years. |
Isn't cristal a Coca-Cola trademark?

I just doubt you've had cristal with the right pairing ... next time .. go get some $50/lb cheeses to try it with .. and don't forget the potato chips |
|
I would do have it waiting after dinner. Just me though. Unless you plan on having some quickie sex before you go eat :)

NO diamonds on the handcuffs ... although that would be pretty clever.. Jesus you ladies are worse than my mom, I swear ;-) And yeah, it's '96 cristal =) |

word. See that's what I'm thinking too ... except I doubt I'll be able to peel her off of me before dinner (between the room, the roses, the champagne, and the balcony, there's a lot to contend with) ... the only thing I'm thinking tho is after all that champagne and cheese ... it may ruin our appetite for din din ... which I guess isn't a big deal ... we could just order smaller plates. |
After Dinner.
And I hope you're having the hotel set all this stuff up for you. |
Yeah def have the hotel have everything setup. I had no problems with things like that when I proposed to my fiance when we were out of town. They didn't even charge me me for the wine. :)
