What a crappy way to start the New Year....
 

I ended up in hospital on the 3rd with something called Serotin Syndrome.

I woke up feeling a bit crappy and within a few hours I was having really bad muscle spasms and then fits - I was rushed to hospital and they said it was a reaction to the meds I am on - they were very honest as well and told be how dangerous it was - 1 in 8 die from it. I have never been so scared.

I was ok after about 24 hours and they sent me home - and the shittiest thing is it looks like I wont be able to make it to Costa Rica :(

I just hope this isnt a sign of how the year is going to pan out for me.

I'm sorry hear it, dude. Sounds like you've been through an awful ordeal. On a positive note, you made it , so maybe its a sign that you'll have a lucky, prosperous year. All the best to you.
