How Annoying.

The part of GFY that rocks is all the drama, real and fake...

hehehehe there goes 75% of the threads. Seriously though, that's gonna have serious enforcement issues since GFY posters/members come from all corners of the world. Moreover, the term "annoy" is overbroad and might impact First Amendment issues. Finally, the 'alias' issue might get big as well. Many expressions of historical political dissent were done under pseudonyms and assumed names.

I think that what this was done for was to stop some of the hate mail, and bad things that are being said about the Bush Administration.

Amen to that. Also, this type of legislation flies in the face of STATE statutes that protect public participation from being stifled by the use of lawsuits (see CA's SLAPP statute). I think the ACLU (love em or hate them) will be on this thing like WHITE ON RICE :thumbsup :1orglaugh

How do we start a petition to enact a law making it a federal offense for congress to pass annoying laws like this, but instead of serving time in a nice federal joint, making sure those congress men and women HAVE TO serve out their 2 year sentences on level 4 State yards in Texas, CA and NY.
