We got our judgement againt IBILL!

Well, after they agreed to terms and we dropped our lawsuit in late summer last year, they gave us a chunk of change and started making monthly payments. But sure enough, after a few months of that they simply stopped paying without notice. So back to the courts we went, and today we got a judgement for the full amount they owe us, plus attorneys' fees.

Not sure what good it'll do, but at least we should see a few cents on the dollar if they declare bankruptcy and sell the furniture and stuff. Woohoo! It also vacates the confidentiality clause of the settlement agreement, since they didn't honor their part. Anyone else in the same boat? If you've signed something with a confidentiality clause, I would encourage you not to post until you get your judgement, of course.

Cheers

You know this is fucked up when you have to take them to court, get an agreement and they don't respect it.

Baseball bats and blowtorches should be pulled out at this point. There's nothing that court can add to this conversation.

Nice. And did you remember to charge them late payment fees dating back to the first month they were in arrears?

I mean hey, if you owed a store or utility or some other company a chunk of money they would charge you late payment fees every month until you payed them, which would add up.

Fair is fair.

Is this the first or the last nail in the coffin?

IMO unless you get a judgement against the atual ownres or the company they bought with the money they stole you're looking at a few cents on the dollar at best and get in line.

I'm sure they're doing it for the principle...And with a domain like bondage.com, I doubt if he/she is waiting for ibill to put food on the table.
