yeah Im bringing like 15 white shirts lol... I hate moist air used to northsea air oh well... so youre comin too? cool :)

BrettJ 01-09-2006 02:18 PM

Tan before you come.

It's a blinding expierence poolside with all the albino webmasters.

As mentioned bring shorts.

CCBill and all of the sponsors have really organized a great event. it's always been about providing a full service expierence that supports networking / conversations instead of hindering it. Full snack bars that you can access 24hrs a day was a really nice touch last year.

Where exactly are you from? My air in NW washington is very similar to amsterdam etc... it is VERY fresh and moist (but not humid) compared to Phoenix. I always get bad nose bleeds and can't blink my dried out eyeballs when I go there. It's worse than Vegas even.

DutchTeenCash 01-09-2006 02:43 PM

k so what bout the scorpions :/

Brad Mitchell 01-09-2006 02:48 PM

Book your room now! That's my advice. Also, you will likely need more than $120 in spending cash unless you latch on to some of your sponsors or your host :)

Just make sure you keep the campfire going all night it also helps keep the coyotes away.

The premium sponsors usually provide you with a desert climate survival package which include instrucions on how to filter and drink your own urine if you lose your way to the snack kiosks.

Dude it's in the desert..but it's always at a very nice hotel...LOL you're not going to have to worry about scorpions.

Fresh 01-09-2006 03:09 PM

expect hot, dry air

Bring sunblock..those of us that live in Europe just don't understand. There are a couple of pics of me last year during one meal outside where at the start of the meal I was my normal pale and pasty self and by the end of the meal my shoulders are bright pink. I had to go right to the hotel gift shop and get some sunblock.

Now that I know the gummy bears are free I had to go again.

My only bitch is that I might have to miss a good part of the last day because I have a Depeche Mode to go to back in London on the 3rd and I need to have the time to get back to my house and then to the gig. Normally leaving on the second would be fine but last year on BA my flight was canceled and I couldn'tfly back until the next day and there is no way I missing DM.

With the exception of the Cure I would agree. However DM and The Cure are on my 'must see before I die' list. Which I know is tempting an air crash but still.. :1orglaugh
