World of Warcraft - Who Plays?
 

Just curious who plays this game. I just started playing it a week or so ago and am level 15 orc rogue. Just curious who else plays. Is there a GFY guild?

I don't play anymore, that game is way too time consuming. I was a level 60 warrior when I quit.

i don't, i prefer having a life.

I played a trial I found in Maxim for a few days, but was too busy with other things to get into it.

From what the others are saying, this is probably a good thing.

HAHA, funny to read some of the responses. I know the game is time consuming but you can limit yourself. I usually play about an hour a day is all, however this past saturday I had nothing going on, sat down at 10 am and didn't stop until about 3pm.

Game is a blast. Must have taken forever to get to 60. I look at the time I put in at lvl15, I couldn't imagine 60.

Had a 60 Priest, but it so addictive I had to quit doing business for 6 months. I'm glad I got rid of the addiction and can continue living and start up some good business again.

Yeah, only 1-2 hrs every 2-3days, still doing 1 lvl/day :) only lvl 36 tho.

You guys that don't play you should see if you can sell you lvl60 players. You can buy pretty much everything else. Hell, there are guys that charge $400 to get your player up to level 60.

If you guys ever play just add SiMaBi to your friends list and hit me up. I am like ddfGandalf, pretty much a level a day is what I try to accomplish.

Same here... too time consuming, but still fun. Ive been playing for 6 months, but since i barely get some time off, im only lv 40 Rogue Human.

I was in on the development of a World of Warcraft macro program, just it it run on an extra pc... i play every now and again... but i have 6 lvl 60's =P

orc rogue? interesting, why not undead? much more handy racials for a rogue imo :) but if this is your first char then i can understand not knowing the intricacies to the game etc :D

you can get to 15 in one day :)

on my last char it took me 15 days to get to 60 (15 days playtime not 15 days passed)

Im a lvl 54 pala on Bladefist. This game is very time consuming though

I play, have a few lvl 60's

I try to but never get around to it, they just re billed my last month and I have only played twice so far. Sucks :mad:

i used to, i had a lvl 40 wizard when i quit and went back to DAOC

I never play during the day, but the evenings and weekends still provide enough time to get the characters up, do some Warsong Gulch and help friends level.

Yeah it can be addictive, but if you do it in moderation then it can still be fun without ruining your life.

I don't get whats the hassle about wow, I'll have to try it

I am on Hyjal, we play in the evenings for a couple hours a day.
It beats TV.

Switched from Hellscream to Staghelm. Still to much lag.

Orc is the best class for rogues, Mainly because of bloodfury and hardness..

Will of the Foresaken with undead is good with chars that are cloth..


I had a 60 Troll Mage almost fully epic'd but i deleted him because its time consuming, Got a petition in to get him restored though :P

cancled the account
box and cd sitting right here

Also with the war effort for the gates of Ahn'Qiraj its gonna take alota peoples time ;) once that opens its gonna be down hill for me :(

Ex d2 addict there... Never gonna play any of thoses games anymore. Way too addicting.

I played it excessively, got sweet gear for my pally... but then realized that I couldn't let the game dicatate my life. So I quit. I may get back to it in moderation, but I'm afraid all the day's time will get sucked into it again. Fuckin WoW.

I've been hooked into WoW for a long time now. What servers are most of you on ?? I was playing on Warsong PvP server with a buddy, but then he got sick of getting owned by other players and the long line to log in sucked, so he talked me into moving to Khadgar which is non-PvP. I'm not sure if I'm gonna like being high level and not be able to storm into Alliance territory and kick ass because that's part of the reason for getting up that high, but oh well, maybe I'll have to go back to Warsong.

I am playing PVP on Mal' Ganis I believe is the name of it. Biggest thing for me is getting people who are willing to help out a lvl 15 and finding quests that will help you grow by yourself. I have done most of the quests the rest are all above my skills, and getting a group is tough on Mal' Ganis from what I have seen.

Yea the problem is at LVL60 you basically have to rearrange your life around the game in order to be competitive. Theres too many kids who do nothing but play that game all day and all night. Getting new end game equipment literally takes months, doing the same instance runs day in and day out. No thanks. I got to level 60, got bored and havnt logged in for a few months now.

I do but I periodically delete because it is extremely addictive. I haven't played in about 2 weeks and I plan to remain off for another 3 months. Then I'll binge for about 3 weeks, get as many levels in, then delete again. I hate doing this but that's the only way I can control WoW addiction. And it is a real addiction, I can literally spend DAYS on end playing. Frankly, I can't understand why it's so addictive.

I am too busy, I am still stuck on playing Starcraft lol
