So you have a solo model program...
It is 2006, you should be considering some kind of tracking....
To be honest, I don't care who you use, but CCBILL's tracking is hideous... You tell me to ditch free trade software and to upgrade from free or low cost thumbs rotation software but you still use CCBILL? WTF? NATS is practically giving away their shit to you and MPA3 also lowered their price..... Don't get the wrong idea about me (unless you have the right idea, I am a dick...)... I don't use free shit or low cost shit... I am not trying to tell you what you should do in 2006, I AM TELLING you what to do in 2006. If you want me to take your asses seriously then start acting in a professional manner and get some real software for us to promote you with! I need acurate referrer tracking and campaign tracking... Take your own advice. Make this year better for all of us! |

However telling small single girl sponsors and other small sponsors to switch too their own billing software would be like a death sentence to them. Most of the small programs I join are because they are CC bill sites and I know I will get paid in bulk from CC bill and not have to worry about not getting enough sales from one small sponsor to meet it's payout minimum.. |
thanks for the advice!

Great post and interresting responses. Crockett, while I understand why many people promote CCBill sites I have to disagree with parts of "telling small single girl sponsors and other small sponsors to switch too their own billing software would be like a death sentence to them. Most of the small programs I join are because they are CC bill sites and I know I will get paid in bulk from CC bill and not have to worry about not getting enough sales from one small sponsor to meet it's payout minimum..
1) We began as a small program with just one site BrandiLove.com yet we started with NATS. The decision was made to bite the bullett to benefit our affiliates, ourselves and position the company for growth. If a site is not making enough to ultimately pay for a program like NATS (i.e. low sales) I fail to see why an affiliate would choose to promote them 2) As far as getting paid in bulk and minimum payouts, I would think that if a few small or a couple large programs were chosen which offer high converting sites targeted toward the traffic you serve you would never have to think about enough sales. Just my :2 cents: |

lol right well we make more then enough for purchasing NATS its a desc weve made to wait. You fail to see that many affiliates do 2-5 signups a month and pick NON nats over NATS cause they simply dont wanna wait 2 months to get paid since most programs have $100 min. All these small aff make a hell of a lot together every month for us and many other programs. So its not just a matter of getting the program or not. |

The reason being is I don't have to worry about it if their sites don't sell with my traffic. Because even if I only get a sale or two out of the random sponsor under CCbill I'll still get a check every week. Simply because all those small sponsor programs with the 2 or 3 sales a month add up.. A lot of us espically TGP/MGP guys have to depend on using a lot of diffrent sponsors to fill our sites with galleries. So it's nice to beable to get a bulk check from all the smaller sponsors. |

************** This has been my question to everyone I seen at Internext, especially the Nats guys. Why hasn't Phil-Flash, and all the other NN programs who make big sales moved over to Nats or Mpa?

Wow, I got some schooling here. Crockett brought up some great points. Aggregation of payouts would be nixed... But even though I would have to wait longer for the payouts, I would still be getting them... I don't mind waiting. But this can sound the death nell for some sponsors because if someone has to wait 4 to 5 months for a payout, they will not be promoting them. Some sponsors rely on 100 affiliates with $15 a day in sales (average). $750 after revshare and I guess they couldn't function without these people... And these people don't want to wait for the $7.50 a day to add up in individual sponsor accounts until it hits $100. They want the 15 sponsors they sell for to hit over $100 a day aggregated...
OK... So the hottest new product in 2006 will be a system where these people can convieniently and at a low cost, aggregate their payouts still. Perhaps Epassporte should be looking into this solution? Perhaps CCBILL already is? |
