get the newer and bigger stock alloys, they look good

that would cost FAR too much, because I would need the rims + the tires to go with it

but I love the 19" ones SO much better than the 18" ones

I think Chrome only looks good next to black.

Chrome would be sweet but you have to keep them clean and no kerbing

we got it from the auctions, advertised as a flood but in fact the previous owner totally fucked up the engine (blew a piston and cracked the eye in which the piston goes) and we had to replace the engine entirely... (this one actually had lower milage anyways)

I believe the thing cost us 50k CAD so about 43-45k US

it also has GPS and such inside, so it was a great deal :)

I'd say go chrome for sure, my old partner Cameron had 19" Rims on his SMG M3 and it looked awesome!

ive never seen one and it snows here 4 months out of the year. we use garages.

We have garage's as well but we use these so that you dont have to shovel the snow in the driveway. Trust me you cant live without them.

No Chrome. Not sure about BMW but Mercedes makes no cars with Chrome rims, it's only dealers and after that add them.

Are you lazy for using a car instead of walking or riding a bike?? no...but the option is available, and much quicker, so why not take advantage of it... LOL

Not chrome. Chrome rims is such a usual thing...they won't give your car a sport or charged view

get some really nice chrome rims, not stock

I have that same car, same year. Mine is one shade ligher silver. My wheels are the alloy, I do not like the look of the chrome with the silver when acutally on the car. The chrome is beautiful on like black or white, but not the silver colors. Just my opinion :)

Stay with the original alloy.. maybe a size bigger.. but no chrome on that color car

You need some other rims though. The chrome BMW ones look too much like a basic factory upgrade.

those chrome wheels will make your M3 tachy imho. something an M3 is not...

you should be looking at putting hamanns PG2's on it or something more tasteful.

Chrome wheels look nasty on any car. Just say no to chrome, NO MATTER WHAT.

Alloys, my shop does not even carry chrome even though I could up our rim/tire profits dramatically with it. To bad you do not have a mercedes I would have hooked you up on the new AMG's we are getting in next week. Ill hit you up tomorrow and see if I can help you out none the less on price. If I do not get to you first get to me, l8r man.

So fucking true. I have chrome 20's on my rx300 and i curbed once, almost lost my mind. I make right turns very wide and carefully parallel park. If you do scratch them up, depending on the amount of the damage they can repair them for about $150. This way you dont have to buy a whole new rim. They collect dust very easily so to keep that shine effect you must wipe them every other day. The attention is nice but it's a bit of work.

Go with the chrome, like the ones in the last pic
