The Booths At AVN Were MASSIVE!
 

Holy shit man, really an eyeopener going over to their show and seeing these massive double story booths. Naughty America had I believe the largest booth which was 50x40. The thing was a god damn house! It was incredible, people were totally smitten by this thing and I could'nt believe how well done it was. They must have paid several hundred thousand for that, absolutely INSANE!!!

When I went back over to Internext I was so dissapointed LOL!

When we went down my good friends from Naughty America made sure I took a picture with Eva Devine. Lets just say I felt very dirty afterwards and needed a shower LOL!

They're preschool sized compared to anything you'd see at CES.

Did anyone get over there? My dad was at the show with a few clients and has some great photos.

I don't really like that Naughty America booth. I think an open booth is better.

Anyone who wants to waste $ on a booth, I have a 30x30 2 story booth in storage. Well over $100k invested.

When was the last time you used it? And do you have any pictures?

Brad, exhibits are my father's main business. He's purchased at least one booth from someone in this business, but I can't recall who.

Did you guys see the Bang Bus exhibit? Those fuckers were throwing down. For some reason, theirs impressed me the most.

And yes, there was some expensive fucking exhibits there. I think there was even a whole dvd store...?

Ours was pretty nuts, when we had the hourly contests we had close to 1000 people jamming around the booth yelling and screaming. Even had a few TV celebrities come up and want to meet Dirty Sanchez haha.

I love after all the big shows/promotional seasons, you can look on ebay and find great prices on a booth.

We have not used it in a few years. It is a great booth, just huge. Takes up an entire 18 wheeler. Hit me up Monday and I can get you the details.

Bang Bros are smart because they have an open booth. So many of the traditional DVD companies have the same old "fortress" type of booth so the fans have to stay on the outside while all the slobs who work for the company sit on the inside like couch potatoes.

I used to attend exhibits so I would also want to see how they designed each booth.

I snuck over to the AVN show myself and snapped these pictures of the Naughty America booth. It was very impressive.

i was at CES. if i see one more 'home media center' solution, i'm going to vomit. and screw Intel and their 'ViiV' bullshit.

the booths WERE amazing though. not as kick-ass as E3, but still pretty cool.

Now you know why they are so willing to send an advertisment like the Gayvn add. To pay for things like that.

NA and BB both had awesome booths. I couldn't move around in there though, wayyy too many people. Glad to see that the consumer market of AVN is still rocking though.

Naughty America's booth was like a set for a play or a movie,it was insane for sure! Also, I have never seen lines so massive and abundant to meet the stars in any other avn show.

Its just a matter of time before all the online companies start getting booths at the AVN show, since online is the future of the adult business

it cost us about $2000 to hang the friggin sign above our booth because of union laborers

the booth itself is completely interlocking peices so if we ever want to make it bigger or smaller it can be adjusted easily...

You're talking about apples and oranges. A house that can be broken down for freight, the union workers to put it up and take it down, the rental for the space, etc. can easily put a 50X40 booth well over $100K in price.

Some of the smaller booths are around $25K - and that's with basically nothing but a backwall, maybe a TV, some chairs and a table.

Thats actually AEE. Everyone is under the assumption that that is AVN's show. I do know that their show is advertised exclusively through AVN.

ANE and Internext are AVN's shows as well as L.A. Erotica. L.A. Erotica is th only consumer AVN show that they produce on their own.

Advantstar is the owner of AEE. AVN does their ads and stuff for the show. The money isn't funneling into AVNs pocket, but I'm sure they make a decent amount of money off of it. Its the advertisers in the AVN mag, not online that makes AVN their cash. :2 cents:

Trust me expensive booths are NOT good investments...

Good product and good staff is a much better way to make money

It is a quick way to gain attention through a high risk marketing campaign...you have three days to make your booth convert to business

Some of the booths at Comdex in its prime would make anything in adult look like a Lego setup... I remember Microsoft, Sony, etc having these giant fucking setups. I also remember one year the video show was in Vegas in July (there used to be a summer video show as well as the January one) and there was a non-adult video show running at the same time. Once again, Sony, Universal, Disney... those were some massive displays.
