Yahoo domain banning is getting out of control
 

Apparently, yahoo's DMCA procedures are weak. They don't even investigate the allegations and just yank peoples' listings clean from Yahoo's index. A couple of my friends got their domains banned and they didn't use any swiped content (how they fuck can they... it's all sponsor-provided).

Just a heads up to those who get most of their SE traffic from Yahoo.

Count yourself lucky. How many domains do you own? I'm clocking 2500+

no where near that many, probably 50 or so....i guess over the years I have had around 1000 or so though

i do SE shit too, and I have never ever had a domain banned from any search engine

I try to stick to white hat as much as I can but I can be very aggressive and have had a few banned because of that. But this thread is talking about getting banned because the competition sends out fake DMCA complaints :helpme :Oh crap :disgust

yeah, i know that, and honestly have never seen it done personally...

Ive seen a few sandbox detector scripts. None work too well. Anyone got any better versions?

Anyway, if you once see only your maipage index and the other subpages, gone from the Yahoo index, that means your domain is penalized, i.e. banned.

Define legit. We have clients with a lot more than that.
