I'm trying to find out why my signature was deleted and why I can no longer edit options etc.. I've used a 120x60 button and one line text link for many many years here. Now it's not allowed?

I think they have an option to disable sigs if you are a repeat offender..Maybe Texas Dreams can help you

Repeat offender? of what? offender of using a small image in my signature? around here that would be the only thing I did considering most use huge images or off the wall stuff.

Looks like the powers greater than me, turned it off because it was going to another forum.

After almost 5 years they turn it off for that? Now that's lame. :( Sending someone a email about it isn't an option? Or putting that in my profile instead of the too big BS isn't allowed?

It's not like it takes anything away from this place it just allows people to relate me to a site. I'm one of those that never causes problems. Only post PR's in the proper place. And I get this?

Hey Princess - remember, this is GFY. They are not known for treating people with respect around here....even someone as sweet as you. Yes, that was a shitty thing to do to you but it does not surprise me that it was handled that way.

I read the rules at http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/gfy_faqs.html about signatures and no where in there that I read does it state that it can't link to another forum. So was I breaking a rule? Not to my knowledge..

I'm sure it'll show up after I post this though.

Yeah you're right. It was my mistake for assuming 5 years ago that it was ok. At least I'm not one of those resource sites that post spam here. I can hold my head high and proud now.. *wink*

A lot of people in this industry luv ya' and respect ya'. Would have been nice for someone from GFY to shoot you over an email, ICQ or something instead of just fucking up your sig the way they did. It's not like your some low-grade sig whore or something. Look around and you'll see plenty of people breaking the rules and have been for a while now with no response from the powers to be. But after 5 years someone gets offended by your sig and deletes it? :(

I just don't see how someone thinks it hurts this place. I use my signature to relate me to the work I do. So that people know me and where I'm from or what I do in the industry.

Basic Rules of GFY

1. No spamming other boards! We don't spam other boards about GFY. We need the same courtesy!

Thanks for pointing that out to me babe. I stand corrected. =) Guess I should have went out with a bang and really spammed like "some" do. Sure it's in my signature but that's not spam in my opinion. But we all know what they say about opinoins..

Guess someone should have been said 5 years ago when I first signed up here and put that resource site I worked for in my signature. I guess it's all in who you know huh? or who you are.
