Go all in pre-flop each hand. Buy the blinds. And then when you get called its 50-50 coinflip
You are bound to get lucky |
if you're bluffing, don't fire one barrel if you're not prepared to fire all three of them. Don't slowplay pocket queens or kings, if you only get paid off by the blinds, so be it. In fact, don't slowplay aces either. You're just begging to get beat by a set of nines. Make them pay to see the flop.
Don't get bluffed off every time you get high pair. Be ready to call at least one big bet by someone trying to steal it. In a 9 or 10 handed game realize that high pair might not be enough and be willing to get away from it if they bet at you very hard after the turn. When you get away with a bluff, show your cards. Next time you make a big bet, make sure you have the cards and win when they put you on another bluff. |
Keep your eyes open for possible straights, gutshot straights and flushes on the board. If you have a good pair, two pair or a set and two suited cards come on the flop, make a BIG bet, at least twice the pot, so it's not worth it for them to see the next card and hit that open ended straight or flush draw on you.
