    Can Blogger Delete Hosted Blogs?

    If we use blogger software but host the blog ourselves using our own domain and host, can they still delete it?

    If they can and do, will we lose everything or will the blog template, archived posts and links etc... still remain online since they are hosted on our company's host?

              Yes. Blogger installed backdoors in their software. If you have illegal content, they will delete their software and the content of your site.

                      They can do anything they want, those fuckers...why just last night they stole two beers from my refrigerator. This was in my own house and running on MY electricity

                      I don't know how the bastards got past the alarm and I just sent them a nasty email. I will post here with an update when they respond.

                                      True, they don't have my hosting username or password but you do have to enter them when you publish, and perhaps when you do, blogger records it. Also,

                                      I'm not to technically inclined so I just want to make sure it's safe. I have heard about blogger shutting down blogspot blogs - both adult and mainstream for no reason at all.

                                      If they shut down mainstream blogs, then the content of my blog doesn't matter.
