I had a C-section and after talking to friends with vaginal births, I'll pick a C-section ANY day!! :)

GlydeGirl 01-04-2006 02:41 PM

I've never had any children, but I'll still soak up Headless' compliment!

SykkBoy 01-04-2006 02:46 PM

I went through sympathy pains with all four of my kids...women are definitely tough...especially with that epesiotomy (sp?) for fuck's sake, I almost passed out just watching it...I also wanted to kick the doctor's ass for making that hole even bigger...

adultchica 01-04-2006 04:40 PM

I had both of mine vaginally, but I was pretty drugged up so it wasn't really that bad :-)

I love my Anesthesiologist

je_rome 01-04-2006 04:48 PM

MandyBlake 01-04-2006 05:08 PM

Not sure - mine was an emergency but that was 22+ years ago.

Women can choose, well a lot of people frown on it, but a lot of celebs like
Denise Richards, Britney Spears, and especially Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) chose to have elective C-sections. Posh Spice had 3 c-sections already.

I heard Britney chose a c-section because she was afraid of giving birth. A lot of celebs have busy schedules and just rather "Schedule" giving birth instead of waiting and not knowing the exact moment its gonna happen.

Personally I don't want to have kids, I'm not a motherly person, but if I did I see nothing wrong with having an elective c-section, I would not hesitate to get one, of course you gotta pay for it yourself since it's obviously not covered by insurance if it's elective and not an emergency, but if you can afford it,it should be your own choice I think. Even though a c-section aint no fucken cake, its serious abdominal surgery and takes longer to recover than
giving birth, but some people don't wanna go through the trouble of pushing it out.

I'm almost 30 and I just don't really like kids to be honest I don't feel any "maternal clock" ticking at all. I like to be free, feel free and live life for myself, I don't want to devote my life to someone else.
