some fucking Bastard, (bastards) stole 4 hats out of my suitcase somewhere between Toronto and Vegas :feels-hot :BangBang: :BangBang: :BangBang:

last year on my santa monica show trip, they opened my suitcase and took my digital cam. sucks

&*$^@*& unbelievable that that is even possible.

thats what happens when they dont allow you to lock your bags anymore

they have a real easy time now that you cant lock you luggage, not that the shitty little locks ever stopped them before :mad:

i hate that shit. i had some very expensive shirts stolen once, coming back from brasil actually.

That aside, sorry about what happened. My last few flights I have found TSA inspection notices inside my baggage. They might be able to narrow it down to whom might have taken your hats, or even recover them.

In any case, don't let this spoil your trip...

I'll get over it , but it just really pisses me off :disgust

There are locks you can buy that are OK to use. I think Brookstone sells them. Also try what Kathi at NatNet does - she gets those plastic ties that you pull tight and locks them with those. If they need to open it they'll just cut them, but then you're out like 2 cents. ;)

Hats are a funky thing to steal!

Might be an advertising/exposure opp for you, Julius....all those webmasters traveling from Toronto seeing the TSA wearing your hats....

If they said "FUBAR" on them that's probably what motivated them to steal them (everybody would want one y'know).

I quit mailing cool postcards, and now put them in an envelope instead, since I figured the sorters at the post office were stealing them.

You might try turning the hats inside out next time you travel, or put a decoy hat on top that says "TSA" or something.

they stole my 3 very expensive belts from LAX to Montreal last year. one of them brand new, i did not even get a chance to wear yet. bitches!!

anything valuable always goes in a carry on bag for me.

They also sell these cheap little personal alarms for bags that emit a loud alarm when the bag is opened. That would prob deter thieves

Remember Shappelle Corby and the few pounds of pot they found in her bags? Baggage handlers pull shit like that all the time... sometimes it's just single people being thieves, other time it's organized crime doing their underground "Customs Clearances"

Be careful... count yourself lucky if they just take your stuff, instead of planting things in your bags to transport for them -- all at YOUR risk, of course!
