The Ruler Of Dubai Died In Australia Today
Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and one of the most influential men in horse-racing, has died today while on a visit to Australia's Gold Coast. He was 62.
http://www.flogthelog.com/images/em.jpg Police in Queensland said that Sheikh Maktoum was staying at the exclusive Palazzo Versace hotel with a retinue of 33 people when he died. It is understood that he was on a private visit to attend yearling horserace sales.
