usa online casino law

can anyone outline risks involved with hosting online gaming content.

It is illegal to operate online casino's in the usa. Today, I was approached by email from an offshore casino affiliate program about using them to generate $$$. They provide games that will be integrated on my site/domain, & player can play right there on my site. By hosting these games, which are basically remote hosted javascripts pasted into my pages, am I breaking the law.
Would it be wise to just send clicked traffic from link or banner to them, rather than have the actual games on my site.

i thought there was also laws about americans sending traffic to casinos... i remember when yahoo and others pulled all their links to that casino that every mainstream company used to send traffic to... casino on the net? something like that. someone will remember... their banners and popups used to be on every other mainstream site.
