Look at this tiny Hi-Def vid camera... sexy...
I've been waiting for these to get a little smaller before jumping on the hi-def bandwagon... hopefully more companies will begin releasing smaller versions like this one this year.

pretty steep :)

720p ...
still acceptable for todays average HD Ready screens. But believe me, 720p is not "HD" compared to 1080i :) |

Editing 1080i is a major pain in the ass....lol :2 cents: |
Nice looking littel device, Looks like it would be good for a trade show., Not to big, and easy to carry.

"VPC-HD1 records video at a bit rate of 9.3 Megabits per second"
read the fine print and you will realize that calling this "high def" is mostly marketing hype. nice toy though. |
perfect when you travel a lot.

Sadly uses MPEG-4 compression - you'll probably get better quality results using a standard $800 camcorder that uses MPEG-2 compression and interpolating up to HD resolutions...

Kicks ass dude. Perfect foe every gathering. :)
