tgp owners - is it better to have more ads up or less ads?
 

Just wondering which is best if youre running your own ads and want the surfers to come back everyday. If I have more up then I am offering my surfers more. But also If I have more that might be too much for them to look at and they'll end up buying nothing.

My main page has 400 links to galleries.

With 400 galleries, why would they click the ads?

I thought about it, try adding 3 banners pr gallery link, it´s the best solution always 1:3.. its the magic ratio...:Hollering

my experience is that ads confuse the surfer and they don't like them

Less but higher quality and in the right spots

you should have at least one text link to a sponsor in each catagory (if you do a catagorized layout)

Text adds... and lot's of'em.

The only ads that seem to get any clicks are the ones at the top of the page, where a 800x600 browser would see it without scrolling.. any ads where the surfer has to scroll down to see it always seem to do shit for me.

Text ads and maybe some odd banner ads. NOT that regular 468*60 banners...

normal banners will make you no money. Text links are fine, and thumbnails of girls which will link to bigger images of them with link to sponsors is good too.

I think Persian Kitty does an awesome job of putting in ads on her TGP. I am always clicking on them.

She uses a mix of half page ads and other odd sized banners.
