I think this is kind of funny.
As a native Californian I dread New Years Day because we have this parade (Rose Parade) and people all over the world get a glimpse at what our weather is like (people wearing t-shirts at 8 AM), and then make plans to move here.
Since the don't have the Rose Parade on Sundays (an agreement made 100+ years ago with the churches, didn't want the cars scaring the horses), they are having the parade today.
For the first time in 50 years it is raining on the Rose Parade, and while I don't know what it is doing in Pasadena, the moment the parade started, the sky opened up and started pouring rain.
Maybe we can schedule some hail or an earthquake next year. Maybe both. :1orglaugh
