Just got owned playing poker.
 

Just got back from a card house nearby. I sat down and was dealt pocket Kings my first hand. On the river I got a King and there were already 2 Queens out. So I had Kings over Queens. This guy bet and I raised him. I figured he had Queens over Kings. We kept raising back and forth a few times and then I figured it out that I was fucked and just called his last bet. He had 4 queens. :mad:

This guy kept owning me the rest of the night. I once had trip 9s and so did he with a Queen kicker to my Jack. :mad: He got me like that a few times more. I never saw him lose a hand he stayed in until the river. This guy was owning everyone. He had to keep coloring up his chips like every 20 minutes because he had no room for them.

I'll have to win it all back in Vegas next week.

last card...in the flop...something to that nature

the first three cards on the board are called the flop

the fourth card it called the turn

and the last card is called the river

people that always stay in till the river with no hand, are called runner runners

First 3 cards in Texas Holdem that come out are called "The Flop". Next card is "The Turn" and the last is "The River". 5 cards in total are on the board in the end.

Actually runner runner is when the 4th and 5th card are needed to make the person's hand.

Last time I played was something like that too... My solid hands kept getting busted, I rebought 5 times before giving up and going home.

Sometimes you just can't win. I couldn't quite get over that first hand I had. Fucked up the rest of my night and my betting.
