There was a revolution that day. As I am told there was gunfire heard outside Habana hospital while I was born. The great day turned out to be the start of the end for my birth place.

Why not just celebrate it on the 31st? By the time you're fucked up w/ friends, it's your birthday? Sounds like a good day for a birthday because you know friends will be with you to celebrate more than if it were on August 1st, no?

My first ex-wife was a New Years baby. When we first started dating I thought it was going to be cool, giving us another reason to party like it was 1976.

That did not last long.

I had a brother that is 12/26. I know he got screwed.
