Batman Begins

What a great movie that was. Batman Begins was a lot better and a lot different than I'd have imagined.

However, they threw off the timeline, not that there was much of one but the cars and technology throw things for a loop.

Not sure if I'm digging the original Batmobile either, but all in all it was worth two hours of my time.

What time line did they throw off?

I have Batman Begins tied for second for my favorite movies of the year, its that good. First would be King Kong, then BB tied with Cinderella Man, then Sin City, then Harry Potter Goblet of Fire.

I was never into Comic Books, so my only impressions of Batman were from the movies.

I like many, saw the original Batman movie made a bunch of years back. It was pretty good.

I guess I shouldn't have said timeline so much as time perspective.

I took the first movie and the subsequent movies to be set from the present time forward, that was many years ago. However, by the cars and technology in Batman Begins it seems like this movie is set to current time which is what I thought was the case for the first movie.

Nonetheless, it was a well done movie.

First one must throw out the first few batman movies. They were utter crap and it seems they basicly did just that. Batman does not kill the joker, well not unless you count graphic novels and so on.

Next the story is sort of set in an alternate time universe so to speak. More so like the late 30's mid 40's with todays and tomorrows technologies. A place where Gotham is litterally the center of the universe city wise. It can have modern trucks, 40's style cars with suicide doors, and yet you can move a few blocks over and find 30's style ghettos made out of plywood and canvas.
