Wow..did you know that 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage ?
Wow that is close to 30% I didn't know this... Just a crazy fact I thought I would share to brighten your day

Yes, I knew that... I actually heard 1 in 4. A lot of women don't even know they were pregnant when they miscarried because the implantation doesn't last and they start their period as usual.
Getting pregnant and carrying to full term isn't as easy as a lot of people assume it is. It's a very delicate process. |

I see your point, it's ridiculously high anyway. |
Yeah, but most of those are very early on. Pregnancy without implantation in the uterus - so you're just talking about a little ball of cells that never found an ancoring point. Many women end up thinking they just had a late period when in fact it was a miscarriage.

We read about that when my wife got pregnant. Then we found out that she had some complications.
But 9 months later we had http://www.housewivescash.com/gfyphotos/deg.jpg photo is at 3 months. |
My flatmates mother had 12 before he finally was born healthy. I keep telling him he should appreciate how hard she tried for him.

Yeah I thought it was even more likely than that. Never knew until we had our first and I started telling everyone right away. Someone pulled me aside and said "shut the fuck up until at least 3 months."

I was always taught not to say anything for a few months. |
I think the reason that most people are not aware of the high number is that most women do not tell anyone about it. Since it usually happens pretty early in the pregnancy.
