Grandpa shares some wisdom (VIDEO)

My grandpa kicks ass. Here's a 5 minute video of my 93 year old Grandpa waxing poetic about the world and life (and a little of tassy and I, too):

note: his voice got better later in the week. (I was pretty worried that this would be my last chance to tape him.)

He kinda likes to ramble on a bit doesn't he...

Looking damn good for his age though, that's for sure.

Halcyon, just went over his site, read his letter to the family on the war, saw his pic with Martin Luther King, seems like he's lived and learned more than most of us would in 2 lifetimes. He gives me good vibes :)

If he's going to make sense, then he could 'ramble' for eternity in my book :thumbsup There are many people making speeches on the News that neither make sense nor risk to loose anything with the consequences of what they speak of - those are the ones I could live without!

Send him my regards and may he be blessed with good health and happiness in 2006!

Yeah but you see my point. I mean,.. you definately wouldn't want to hear my grandpa ramble, and he turned 96 this year

Notioced that he was sporting a pink scarf. Looks like you come from a line of really kool people.

Dont forget to one day, out of the blue, call him and tell him you love him. One day he will be gone, and you will be glad that you did.

I think your Grandpa is a Xmas blessing - to everyone around him. Ninety-three years of life experience. Thinking about the last almost century that he's witnessed I can't even begin to imagine what he's seen and lived through, and yet he still laughs like a total kid - that kind of joy is infectious. That he actually walked around sporting the pink scarf is classic! A happy and healthy 2006 to Grandpa Caleb - thanks for sharing Hal :)
