How many of you do this for the money or because you love your job?
 

And better yet, how could anyone hate working in this industry... Seriously, do cubicle driven office space type positions exist here? Personally I play a very tiny roll in online adult, but every oportunity I get to chat with you guys in person, the first thing I always notice, is the general feeling of complacency... and self satisfaction. Such traits are unfortunately scarce at any other conference or trade show. So here's to the good life! I hope you are all enjoying this experience as much as I am!

I wanted to program, but I didnt want to program for a company in a little cubicle all day.. this industry allows me to be creative and work at my own pace, and make more than any company could have to offer.

And best of all, no college neccessary :)

I work in an office for an adult entertainment company and I pretty much do it because I dig the team I work with, the job I get to do (programming / building geeky web stuff), and the money's pretty nice for such laid back work.

I do what i love, and the cash - lots and lots of it - has followed. :thumbsup

We started our first website as a free site, mainly as a place to showcase our images. We became a paysite only after our free hosting kicked us off their servers (usin' too much bandwidth)...and we wound up going with a pay webhosting service instead.

We'd still be producing original content even if we weren't running a paysite...the only difference being we wouldn't adhere to update schedules like we've done since 1999.

Nothing compares to being your own boss and master of your own destiny.
