Cant delete file cause its locked? [pls help]
 
Where do I see what prg locks the file? Its a folder called 6 on my desktop cant del it annoying...

Filesharing programs like DC++/kazaa or anti-virus programs that are running on your computer. Those two are probably the best bets.

If nothing else works you can always reboot in safe mode (try regular reboot first) and wipe it first thing.

Start->Run-> type msconfig-> click Startup folder - uncheck all files you don't recognize or if you have anything that refers to the '6' file. Apply, restart computer.

Should be able to delete it now.

its a extracted zip, repaired it cause it wasnt ok and now its locked, removed the repair prg already and no its not a dailer, my AV doesnt allow them

k the ziprepair was there unchecked it, it popped up the change config on my AV so that was it I guess. Restarting now thanks!
