Summerholliday: How is Sweden, Norway and Denmark
 

Thinking of going there this summer. Will go by my own car, and will drive through these countries. I will go like 5 weeks or so.

What is the best period to come there(weather,bars, disco's) wise?

The weather can be a little fucked up during the summer here, but Swedish summer is still the best in the world. If the sun is shining you will see beautiful girls everywhere you look :) Best period is July-August.

Sweden is best in July - the national vacation month :) Try to visit "Båstad" during the swedish open tournament.

The nature sucks here in Denmark compared to Sweden and Norway, but we have cheaper beer, liberal girls and wild nightlife :)

July and August are good in Norway. But partywise, all months are good. LOTS of students here... and they are all drinking all the time! :)

You should come to Oslo or Bergen. Let me know if you are coming to Bergen though!! I'll take care of you :thumbsup



I was in Stockholm this summer, that was a kick ass city!

What I like todo is:

Visit beautiful old cities
Taste the culture
See some of the nature there
And I also like the nightlife.....Disco's, dancings etc

I've been to Denmark 19 years in a row (half of my family lives there, mother is Danish) and I absolutely love it! Haven't been there for 2 years now, but I'm sure I'll be going back coming summer, we should meet up... I'll be in Fredericia probably, and I can show you everything there :)

Also, make a stop in Visby on the island Gotland.

And you need to visit "jomfru ane gade" in aalborg - the biggest street with the most bars/discos in denmark

Fredericia rocks. Nice people and plenty of nature as well around the place.
Bad thing is all the shit going on there around christmas this year with 300 tombstones being knocked over.

There were some young parents from Fredericia on TV who lost their kid recently and his tombstone were smashed to pieces :(

danmark is amazing, one word of advice : bring cash LOTS

Im really suprised no one has mentioned my home town Göteborg yet. Göteborg is awesome during the summer. We also got a festival called "The Gothenburg Party" basicly the entire city gets shut down and there is beer/resturant/party tents all over the the town and ppl just walk from one tent to another entire day and night. :)

The nightlife in Göteborg is pretty damn good too but it aint no Bangkok/Amsterdam/New York but there plenty off clubs to choice from and there is alot of hot girls. ;)

Also you can easily go by boat (with your car) from Denmark(Fredrikshavn) too Göteborg then you if you want to go up to Oslo it´s just 25miles from Göteborg and
a excellent highway between the too cities.

Also Gothenburg got the europes biggest and best amusment park
after disneyland paris. I personally prefer the one in Gothenburg
than the Disneyland. Disneyland is to expensive and to much ppl. :)
