Affiliate signing up for paysite - considered tax deductible or not?
Everything invested to expand and maintain your business and income is considered an expense and tax deductible, so does it make sense in these examples of cases where you signup for a paysite?
Before promoting: - Quality check. Is it worth promoting? - Is the site what they promise i.e. risk of refunds? - Do they update often, should you go for revshare rather than PPS? After: - Test signup, do you get credited? - Do they upsell from their membersite and do you get credit from it? - If they do not give you a free pass, why? Is there a reason...maybe their site is not as they promise? - Site reviews. - Promotional content (one paysite said "grab it - but you have to signup yourself...") So? Dont call me a surfer, I'm doing serious accounting here :1orglaugh :) |
You can also ask for a free pass :)

A good argument for you accountant:
"the more I jerk off, the more productive I become. I know that is not the common policy in other offices, but in this business it really is. The only place I can analyze and test the products is on myself" :1orglaugh |
