How to tell your date you do porn!

Anyone got any tips for me?

I went on a date last week with this really pretty girl. She asked me what I do for a job. I told her I write php code and design websites for clients. I didn't want to scare her with "I do porn" while on the date. I have seen her everyday since that night and it's getting hard to hid my work each time she comes around. Not sure just to tell her outright and hope she can handle it or keep hiding it from here and hope for the best.

Anyone else been in this position? What would be your advice?

Furious_Male 12-27-2005 10:13 AM

I would set up a camera and tell her to get naked. Adjust the lighting then gently tell her you are doing a porn shoot. Oh and btw I am in porn. I am sure she will be ok with it.

gangbangjoe 12-27-2005 10:14 AM

fuck her real hard and after you came on her face tell her

"i earn my living with selling shit like that"

lol maaaaaaaaaan tell her straigt: if she can't deal with it she is out of the game

JD 12-27-2005 10:14 AM

stick a finger in her ass and tell her to STFU

Libertine 12-27-2005 10:15 AM

Say: "I work in porn". That usually gets the point across pretty well.

Your a coder, your not a pornographer.

BigasMoe 12-27-2005 10:17 AM

Tell her your work has an affiliation with the Adult Industry and anything you tell after that point might jeporadize her freedom.

Dirty Dane 12-27-2005 10:18 AM

I tell them right away. Better to be dumped by the true than a lie :thumbsup

cool1 12-27-2005 10:20 AM

Best to just come out with it.
"I make money from internet porn", then show her a paystub.

sfera 12-27-2005 10:23 AM

tell her you are a webmaster for varius online affiliate programs that pay you to promote thier companies mostly mainstream but there are some adult work

WebairGerard 12-27-2005 10:23 AM

are in the porn flicks? if not just tell her you do code some porn, some mainstream. if it's legal you code. :)

Sosa 12-27-2005 10:24 AM

Def tell her. If she doesn't like it move along or show her what you do and that it isn't bad.

adultchica 12-27-2005 10:24 AM

Just tell her that one aspect of your work is "adult websites"

I'm a girl and I think it's hot :-)
I do it for a job too. If people can't deal with it in the 21st century, there is something really wrong!

seeric 12-27-2005 10:28 AM

i do it like this.

"i sell porn!"

reaction:

"thats great! buy me a ferarri"

calibra 12-27-2005 10:28 AM

Sooner or later u'll have to do it. Sooner is better. U r what u r, it's your job.

Dalai lama 12-27-2005 10:30 AM

I tell them I entertain adults online :)

I agreed with you that is the best option :winkwink:

who 12-27-2005 10:32 AM

Tell her you work for a male hormone support group

DaddyHalbucks 12-27-2005 10:33 AM

"Honey, I can't be Your Daddy on mainstream.

But, allow me to do porn, and I could make a bundle of cash for you and me.

What do you think?"

;)

Right on....I usually stick to the point also :thumbsup

leroytrolley 12-27-2005 10:35 AM

you could always uset he "it's artistic nude" line. Or "I'm so bored of it, I hardly see it as porn anymore, just another pic that needs cropping and another video that need editing".

Do not tell her that is all you do. Just tell her in passing one day that some clients have you code for adult websites. Tell her they pay so much better and you assume they make more money.

This way in the future if she notices you are only working with adult, you can say that they just pay better.

If you just tell her you deal with pornos, it will not sound good. People outside of the industry do not have the same understanding that we do. Most often times, it isn't about openess, but more about relating to it as a product. Her relating to the adult industry might consist of "Boogie Nights."

LB-69 12-27-2005 10:54 AM

Re

Anyway is a good question...usually I date one of my models, so I dont need to hide myself, but new girls will know that "I work with computers", and my family knows that "I sell on the net"..works by now..:-)

Wiggles 12-27-2005 10:55 AM

just tell her man, no point keeping it a secret, she'll eventually find out, show her exactly what you do, half the time its totally not what they thought and they are like; "oh thats it?".

If you don't go balls deep on camera, your a slinger. So all you do is sling porn what you said was fine. Too many guys think they have to have FULL acceptance from women by telling them everything too early

BV 12-27-2005 11:10 AM

Make sure you wear your GoFuckYourself.com T-Shirt the next time she comes over.

well said. on that note, i usually get drunk and tell them i deal with the online adult industry. when they give me a funny look, i say porn. they usually laugh and find it amusing. if she doesn't like it, her loss.

if you're really concerned about it, play it up. make it sound like this issue you really don't want to talk about. she'll assume you're a hitman or a baby kidnapper. when you finally come out and say internet porn, it'll sound like you work at a old folks home as a volunteer.

last one.. just say "hey, it's not as cool or exciting as your job, but i work in the online adult industry. it's a pain in the ass sometimes, but it's fun."

FreeOnes 12-27-2005 11:23 AM

I get crazy of these questions as well and almost every girl doesn't like porn or think you are a pervert etc etc.

well said, reminds me of the "boiled frog": excert below:

They say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water,
it will leap out right away to escape the danger.
But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant,
and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling,
the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.
The frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.

Ogix 12-27-2005 11:46 AM

do as i do - Be honest :thumbsup It really works.Ofcourse if the girl if the girl is smart enough to understand that it's only job.

Nicky 12-27-2005 12:00 PM

I say I work with internet marketing, if they ask more specific I say I manage and update internet websites that make money advertising various stuff etc: poker, casino, porn seems to work ok :)

WiredGuy 12-27-2005 12:01 PM

By your description, your a programmer, not a pornographer. Just drop it into conversation that your clients are in the adult industry, but maintain the fact you're a coder.

tranza 12-27-2005 12:07 PM

Depending on the girl she might even like it...

Violetta 12-27-2005 12:29 PM

wait till you know her a little bit better!

pornguy 12-27-2005 12:32 PM

tell her the truth.

remember.

If you love something let it go.
If it comes back to you, then you know it was meant to be.

If it does not come back.

Hunt it down and kill it.

jade_dragon 12-27-2005 12:35 PM

You say, "I am in the adult industry, I ______ " where ______ is filled in with what in the adult industry you do. she can either deal with that or not, you are a grown man right, well that is a major part of being an adult, you do what you want within the confines of the law and you hold your head up high doing it.

d00t 12-27-2005 12:44 PM

As a master of this, with australian girls too...this is what you say:

"I do creative consulting online for a bunch of companies" ... if she questions it more, just give her a bunch of really technical explanations she won't understand.

1-2 months later, bring up that you're sick of looking at porn all day and some of your clients are really cool (DONT MENTION MONEY) ... in her brain she'll think .... 'oh if his clients are cool...he must be cooler than i originally thought too!' .... again.. she'll think nothing of it.

Another month or 2 later, leave a softcore picture/movie on your pc so she will see it (maybe as your desktop)... here is where you stand up for yourself.. if she attacks you for morality issues or porn is bad or some BS... you need to stand up for yourself and give her the "porn is just another industry" thing ... again..dont mention $$$

By doing this, you will further gain her respect by displaying you are a man and because you have not mentioned big$$ at any time in the last few months she will have no higher expectations of you.

If you tell a girl straight up that you do porn, like Airek says, she'll assume you're loaded ... => VERY BAD IDEA

Just be sure never to lie to her, this will also backfire. You need to carefully choose your words when describing what you do, and remember exactly what you said because she WILL twist your words around later to make you sound like a "lying cheating, porn obsessed pig headed male" ...

Just remember... not all girls are flexibly open minded enough to deal with this business or accept what their partner does is socially moral.

IWantU_Jeff 12-27-2005 12:45 PM

Should totally just tell her straight up. You tell her you work in adult. You dont have to go into more detail than that unless you guys get all into it, but you already told her you do php, so you just code them, not like your the start or stunt cock.. ;p
You program adult sites..better to be straight up then her find out & then you lied etc.. it can only go downhill from there...

Zorgman 12-27-2005 12:46 PM

Thanks guys, if she asks again I will tell her.

Bet I will be single again by the end of the week! :D

You don't do porn. You code. If you work in the adult business as a webmaster/coder/designer, etc... than just say that.

Well that's a nice way to say it.

Just explain her what you do if she dump you for that then she wasn't worth it. The sooner the better.

reynold 12-27-2005 07:15 PM

Tell her the truth, and I think she'll understand your job. :thumbsup

Just tell her you do freelance multimedia work. Don't go into details until a few months pass.

webcrawler 12-27-2005 07:44 PM

Tell her you both work on adult and mainstream (I assume you've done it before).
No need to elaborate.

Spunky 12-27-2005 07:44 PM

Just explain some of your clients are webmasters and you do not discriminate
