When a female dog is in heat, she, other females, and of course the males around her may turn into humping fools. Of course, this would be sexual arousal. The excitement of the situation can lead to fighting, as well as the strong possibility of an accidental pregnancy. Female dogs in heat need to be kept under top security!

I somewhat agree. My male dog was with me for 3 years before I got another female of the same breed. Of course my attention shifted towards the new female due to training. She also insists on sleeping in my bed where my male dog never had that habbit. Weird thing is my male dog doesn't really mind when she humps him. She doesn't mind when he humps her either. But, I did teach my male dog to allow her to do things that he knew was "Bad" based on the fact that she was still learning. That could have been a mistake :error
