At least it's a bit of variety. CBS's milking the fuck out of "CSI" like shows.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition does well for them as well but they were foolish to let it run into the ground before losing it

its going to be much better at ESPN. Watch Sunday Night Football and you will see - they have better intros and better angles.

Plus, both stations are owned by the same parent company so it makes business sense. They show stupid things on ESPN like figure skating during MNF now. How easy will it be to plug that spot on ABC now with some sitcom. It will get more viewers than espn viewers now watching figure skating during the MNF spot... the people at walt disney who own ABC are not fools at all, they just increased their overall audience on monday nights with one simple and smart move.

ABC's parent DISNEY is not really losing anything other than rabbit ear viewers. I'm interested to see how NBC handles the Sunday night games next year, though.

The MNF crew of Michaels and Theisman should be interesting as well.

Um, yeah, ABC...could ya' please just show Desperate Housewives like seven nights a week?

I hope ABC starts Monday Night Basketball. That would be interesting.

Good move. And now I'll get the monday night games in HD :)

That would be great, but no sport's regular season games can be hyped up like the NFL can.

Although NBA on NBC used to do a good job of turning meaningless games into something that seemed big. ABC has crashed and burned with the NBA. The games just aren't the same.

The entire NFL will eventually be on cable or pay per view type TV. Just a matter of time.
