My first trip to Internext, and to Vegas....
So what do I definitely need to see and do if I'm going to Vegas for the first time, besides gamble?
|
Dont gamble. Unless you have the money to waste. Dont plan on learning anything either.
|
lol learning?
|
hey hey hey
i'll be there cant wait to hang out :P |
Wow - not my first time to Vegas but my first time to Vegas for this specific occassion - looking forward to it - hope to meet you there! xo

Bring some "Chaser" tablets to help ease the hangovers. Some chapstick for the dry ass weather. Just focus on networking meeting new people. Once your there and the parties happen it will all fall into place.
Cheers |
It's my first time there also. The excitement is building up.
|
same here. ive skipped out on the last 2 years...and i dont know why.
i could care less about the casinos since i live 56 minutes from AC. but the parties and meeting up with people who wont look at me funny for spreading eagles on the internet is the cool part! |
go and see a show. last year one of the nights before the internext my girlfriend made sure that we went to the blue man group. it was a great show. you need to see at least one show before you turn into all work and networking. ;)

Ok.. So i am not alone. My first time in Vegas and for Internext. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Get online and google all of the entertainment going on, and then make reservations, because with CES happening at the same time, the good shows are either already sold out or are going to be (if you are thinking about buying tickets at the door - fuggedaboutit).
Cirque Du Soleil has a handful of good shows...pick one. Penn and Teller is always good. The "tribute" shows are good if you are into that (The "Rat Pack" show is fun). I'm more of a Conan kind a guy, but even Jay Leno will be in town a few nights... Be sure to also try and score tickets to the big industry parties (both the Internet and Adult Video shows). I highly recommend the Player's Ball on Friday night featuring George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars. There are restaurants and shopping galore in Las Vegas, so be sure to check it out in advance and try and draw up a plan (even though it may go out the window once you arrive). Oh yeah, and there is lots of sin in Sin City...if you can't find it there, you can't find it anywhere. Finally, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... ADG Webmaster |
Just enjoy what your eyes see there.. :thumbsup
