For some reason it doesn't sound as credible when coming from you. Name any famous person, place, or thing, and you seem to have been there, known that person, fucked them, or owned one. Man, just give it up. You're doing yourself NO favors.

Lace 12-26-2005 12:41 PM

That is simply one amazing yacht!

That's a sweet yacht. I bet I could find a room to stowaway in.

baddog 12-26-2005 12:50 PM

You pretty much need a yacht that big if you want to be able to park cars and a helicopter on it.

BigRod 12-26-2005 01:03 PM

very impressive...!

Vitasoy 12-26-2005 01:04 PM

Yeah, that kicks ass. Right out of the side of the yacht.

BlueDesignStudios 12-26-2005 02:08 PM

it's pretty nice... I guess...

kristin 12-26-2005 02:10 PM

When we were in Florida for Internext we had breakfast by the harbor one morning and there were some incredible boats. Many were webmasters and that's one thing you don't hear much about in our industry, it's all cars, but some people have some killer boats. SexMoney's boat was pretty sweet looking.

WiredGuy 12-26-2005 02:18 PM

Damn, $20 mil in maintenence? What in the world are they doing to it, putting gold plating on the whole thing every year?
WG

Kimmykim 12-26-2005 02:23 PM

Octopus is not the largest yacht in the world any more. Larry Ellison's Rising Sun now has honors on that one.

http://www.powerandmotoryacht.com/me...ts/index1.html

Bono lives in the South of France during the summer(he was just on 60 Minutes last month or so discussing it), so I'm not sure why he'd be taking an annual cruise...

Kevsh 12-26-2005 02:23 PM

That's shameful. The 20 mil a year he could feed & provide homes for a few thousand people. But, hey, it's nice to see there is still so much greed in the world ....

Wilbo 12-26-2005 02:23 PM

Sorta reminds me of my boat........except mine's a canoe........but they both just basically float around.

Actually I think Paul Allen donates a ton of money to charity and education.

Not that it wouldnt be a nice thing for him to do but who made him responsible for feeding the hungry and housing the homeless???

Viper2K1 12-26-2005 02:38 PM

makes me feel poor :321GFY

How much do you think that mother fucker costs to take out for a day trip out oft he harbor in just FUEL? LOL - some people here make me laugh.

Then you have a crew... who knows what size that is. And what about parking it? 20 million $ (if the boat is used regularly) seems actually cheap. That's an ocean liner dude... that's not a boat.

That ship is a full time job for about 40-50 people. Maybe more :2 cents:

A crew of 60 runs it from what I've read.

Brad Mitchell 12-26-2005 03:45 PM

Funny thing is Donny
I have a REAL LIFE.

I don't post made up stories and write about my boring life on blogs all day-
I have one fun filled, crazylife-

Maybe that is why I have a film deal and a tv show in the works and you don't?

Tamara along with my good friend, and former mainstream model I dated along with two of their friends were flown out to France and given $10,000a piece togo on shopping sprees courtesy of one Paul Allen-
He stocks the ship once a year with a ton of celebrities, models, and rock bands and cruises the French Riviera with them.

Bono, along with the Edge, Steve Jobs, Sting- and a handful of HUGE stars I can't even remember her telling me about were all onboard, and yes Tamara fucked Bono-

I should know, cause when they played San Diego my tix came directly from Bono's asst-and I could have sworn that the little man with the big glasses I shook hands with, was him as well.

Maybe next you'll tell me Bono has a fake Irish accent.
:1orglaugh

Nice looking ride, but what a waste of money.

KK you are right for once!
He does live in the South of France, the same place where he boarded the yacht.

I love my Haters- you guys really look stupid hating on me sometimes- but I love you anyway- without you guys, I would be a NOBODY like many of you.

kBizzle always reminds me of Tommy Flanagan.

http://snltranscripts.jt.org/85/85bliar.phtml

Announcer: And now, a message from Pathological Liars Anonymous.

Tommy Flanagan: Hello, my name is Tommy Flanagan, and I'm a member of Pathological Liars Anonymous. In fact.. I'm the president of the organization! I didn't always lie. No, when I was a kid, I told the truth. But then one day, I got caught stealing money out of my mother's purse. I lied. I told her it was homework -that my teacher told me to do it. And she got fired! Yeah, that's what happened! After that, lying was easy for me.
I lied about my age and joined the army. I was thirteen at the time. Yeah.. I went to Vietnam, and I was injured catching a mortar shell in my teeth. And they made me a three-star general! And then I got a job in journalism, writing for the National Enquire.. er, Geographic! Yeah.. I was making twenty thousand a ye.. month! In fact, I won the Pulitzer Prize that year! Yeah, that's the ticket.

And then my cousin died - Joe Louis - and I took it hard. Maybe too hard - I tried to kill myself. Yeahh.. I did kill myself! Sure! I was medically dead for a week and a half! It was a woman that brought me out of it - Indira Gandhi! Yeah, right.. And she told me about Pathological Liars Anonymous. Oh, you'd be surprised how many famous people belong. In fact.. at one of the meetings I met my wife - Morgan Fairchild! Yes, I'm a change man now, and all because of Pathological Liars Anonymous. Why, I - I even have my picture on the cover of Newsweek magazine. Yeah. Every day! Yeah.. that's the ticket! Yeah, you betcha!
