Have you ever rented some office space for your biz?
Im thinking about doing it. itd be nice to hire a part timer, and to move it all out of my house.
anyone here done that, and how did it turn out for you? |
Sure it works well and you have an address for your 2257 paperwork in place of your home address. The only drawback is i have to drive 20 mins to the office...

Something I would like to do in the future when I get more mainstream products launched to hire help to run those.

Yes had an office for several years. I am actualy closing it down this February. Over the years I managed to re-work my business plan so I don't need the space or the over head.

We've rented space for office and inventory. Needed to keep the product out of the house. It keeps things nice and simple and the neighbors don't know about the business. Receiving is taken care of regardless if anyone is in the office at the time or not. However, when renting space you don't necessarily want the building/management to know what your business is. Contrary to popular belief, they're not all greedy bastards that will take $$$ from anyone willing to pay.

I personally like having all my equipment in a rented studio.

I started it mostly as a front to show people instead of porn, but its actually making money and has some potential. I might shop around for a small office. |
The office works out great, working at home is to distracting.
