with the following numbers

1:1200 out of 100,000 second page uniques (thats how they count)

traffic is roughly

75% >> TGP
15% >> SE
10% >> misc/other

Yes. But would try to get more SE traffic

Its just my lowest converting sponsor - I am only curious to where other webmasters draw the line.

The thing is they use to do alot better - but how long do you let them convert poorly and what would you consider poor

If I end up having to kick some programs to the curb your program is one of the ones I'm considering testing.

I was looking at different programs the other day and checked out Freakbucks.

With TGP traffic... I can see that happening...

The sucky part about TGP's is that if you can the sponsor from your TGP's your surfers might feel like they got their options shortened and stop bookmarking...

What niche?

The numbers you provide are vague. When I see posts like these, I'm sorry to day but they are typically from people that are clueless when it comes to marketing regardless if the traffic is from TGP's, SE..etc...

For instance: If you are promoting a MILF site and are submitting or paying to be listed on TGP's/MGP that are of the niche teen, guess what? Your join ratios will be shit. That is just one example I see all to many times.

TGP traffic can be either very good or very bad, no inbetween there

Isn't the case - Its isolated to a single sponsor that isn't much different from the others I promote

I joined this sponsor in 2002 they have converted great for the longest time.

During the past months I've noticed steady decline.

They are a great sponsor and convert for many webmasters. They just aren't converting for me lately. It happens.

Besides this has nothing to do with my question - I just want to know when other webmasters decide to kick a program to the curb

Your best bet would be contacting the sponsor.

Fair enough:

With search engine traffic, I boot them after 1:400
TGP traffic I kick them to the curb after 1:750

1:500 second page on anything but popup or chinese traffic.

1 in 1200 for 2nd page is pretty bad, no matter what traffic source :-/

tgp traffic is not the strongest i have found
