Gift Cards/Gift Certificates - good or bad?
 

Some people say they are impersonal. I like getting them, therefor I dont mind giving them.

Thoughts??

I like getting them as well. Id rather get a gift certificate than something im not gonna have any use for. :2 cents:

Exactly! You buy a pair of underwear for your girl and its to small, then they think they have a fat ass. You buy it to big and they think that we think their ass it too fat!

The person who invented gift certificates is a guy for sure.

If you're going to give me a gift certificate, give me cash - I can spend that anywhere :)

That said, I did put GC for a few stores on my Christmas list this year ;)

Those credit card gift certificates that you can use anywhere are the best.

i like them... i would be very happy with a gift certificate, my bf is not even giving me ANYTHING for Christmas, he says he doesnt believe in X-mas but its an excuse for being cheap I think... BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!! :disgust

Either way, give or recieve. Allows peole to get what they want - and avoid returns, or duplication of gifts.
