GFY Ethics - Reporting a Scammer.
Ok. Some stupid scammer stole money from you. You've tried everything, calling him, ICQ him, e-mail him, left messages on his answering machine, talked to the secretary (most of the time it's a hooker or a girlfriend) and she always reply something like : "He's out of town but I will leave a message..".
So what's the last option? GFY?! Yeah sure.. You will get mad views. But the scammer will always win that way. The scammer will reply some smart ass answer to the problem and will ALWAYS make you look like a fool. 99% of the time people will then reply "Yeah, he's not a scammer, he's good people in my book.. :thumbsup " Basically, it's going to backfire at you. So, you're fucked anyway. You really want your money back? Then go the Small Claims Courts and when you win. Show us the papers. Sure, you still won't get your money back because even if you won, the scammer usually doesn't have anything the repo guys can seize from him (Scammers are always broke). Except maybe an old dog and some crackers.. Good luck anyway. |
ok well
thanks for letting us know |
mad views are good. Its good for people to know who they're dealing with.
Problem is gfy has short memory. You will see the same scammer few days later trying to get biz from gfy. |

I don't know...I've seen several instances where things got "taken care of" rather quickly once it was brought out into the public. It's a shame that business has to be conducted that way but some people are just not to be trusted :Oh crap
